Open Class Entry 

Registration & Schedule

Day of entries will not be accepted. Entries must be made starting on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. The entry deadline is Friday, June 28th, 2024. If you need assistance making entries, contact the Fair Office. To make entries in this department, exhibitors must purchase a 2024 Warren County Fair Membership ticket or season pass for $35. Youth 17 years and under may enter under a parent’s membership ticket or season pass. Warren County 4-H members are permitted and encouraged to make entries in this department. The purchase of a 4-H entry pass for the fair allows you to make entries in this open class department. Entries cannot be the same specimen as their Junior Fair entry. There will be youth (18 years and under as of January 1st, 2024) and adult divisions for each department and class listed except the Antique Tractors department. Other than purchasing a membership ticket or season pass, there is no cost for entering this department. Ribbons will be awarded to the top five in each class.

Antique Tractors

Department 150

Classes

Adult Only

1: Tractor, 1941 and older, wheel and crawler type, restored (Show Piece)
2: Tractor, 1941 and older, wheel and crawler type, unrestored
3: Tractor, 1942 to 1962, wheel and crawler type, restored (Show Piece)
4: Tractor, 1942 to 1962, wheel and crawler type, unrestored

Tractors may only be entered in one class. Multiple entries per class are permitted in this department. Cash awards will be provided to the top 3 in each class. (1st - $50; 2nd - $35; and 3rd - $15).

1: Mixed Hay – Any percentage of legume (alfalfa, clover, etc.) and grass.
2: Grass Hay – 100% grass, any grass permitted.

Exhibitors are permitted to enter one entry per class.

Largest & Best Class

Exhibitors are permitted to enter one vegetable per class which will be judged in both the largest and best class. Separate awards will be provided for the largest vegetable and best vegetable.

Market Basket Class

Best exhibit of vegetables. Must include three or more vegetables. Exhibits should reflect the total bounty of your garden. Vegetables will be displayed in your own basket. Total exhibit area must not exceed 18" x 18" and all vegetables must be displayed in the basket.

Entries in baked goods must be in wrap or bags and on paper plates/cardboard when submitted to the Committee for display and judging. No colored plastic wraps.
