Managing and Clerking


Warren County Junior Fair Sale Committee is seeking sealed bids for anyone interested in providing auctioneer services and/or managing and clerking the 2026 Junior Fair Sale.

 

Auctioneer Requirements:

·        Provide an auctioneer(s) for Thursday, July 23rd hog sale and Saturday, July 25th livestock (Beef, Sheep, Goat, Poultry & Rabbit) sale

·        Provide 3 ringmen for each sale

 

Managing and Clerking Requirements:

·        Manage livestock auction software, FairEntry, before, during and after the fair.

·        Provide at least 5-6 personnel for auction days to enter/confirm buyer registration, answer questions, set up required technology, record bids, and collect payments.

·        Provide a project manager who is available on site throughout the week and each auction day

·        Create the sale bills. All copies must be available for buyer pick up 2 hours ahead of time

·        Generate required reports following each sale in a timely manner

·        Ensure accuracy of all data following the sales including buyer’s information, buyer purchases and packer destinations

·        Complete and distribute first round of buyer statements within one week following the end of the fair


·       The deadline to submit a sealed bid via mail or hand delivered to 665 N Broadway St Lebanon OH 45036 is April 17th.

 

·       The Warren County Junior Fair Livestock Sale Committee will reach out following the April 23rd meeting for additional steps. The committee may request proposal presentations.

 

·       The bidder may bid for the auctioneer contract, the management/clerking contract or both. If the bidder chooses to bid on both auctioneer and management services, the bid must specify the expenses for each service.

I read the blog about the Warren County Junior Fair Sale request for bids, and it was interesting to see how much planning goes into supporting young participants and making the event successful. It reminded me of helping with a school fundraiser where everyone had different roles to keep things organised. Around that time, I used Do My Geometry Assignment when I was struggling with difficult topics and tight deadlines. It made me realise that teamwork and the right support can make challenging tasks much easier. Nice post.
